Instructions for download and installation:

Step 1 - Select the correct download link below for the chosen software and your computer operating system.

Step 2a (for Windows computers) - You may have the option of running the installer immediately after download. Otherwise, be sure to note where the file downloads so that you can locate it on your hard drive to run the installer later. Some users may also receive a caution from their browser regarding installation of downloaded software from an unknown publisher. Just ignore the caution and proceed with the download. If during installation an "administrator" window opens in front of the installer, just close that window and proceed with the installation.

Step 2b (for Macintosh) - Be sure to note where you web browser puts downloaded files (usually your desktop) so that you can find and run the installer. Depending on how your browser handles compressed files, the downloaded installer may need to be expanded before it can be run. If it doesn't automatically expand when downloaded or expand when double-clicked, you may need to download the free Stuffit Expander at http://www.stuffit.com/exptester.html.

Step 3 - The installer will allow you to choose the location where the application will be installed but will also place a shortcut on your desktop (Windows or Mac OS9 users) or an alias in your Mac OSX Dock for easy access. When choosing the location of the installation, be sure you are installing into an area on your hard drive where you have both Read and Write privileges. Many school districts have software installation restrictions. If in doubt, be sure to check with your tech person before installing. Note, if you need portability (from school to school, home to school, etc.) you might try installing to a USB flash drive.

If the installer will not run, check the size of the downloaded file to be sure it is complete. If it only partially downloaded, trash that file and try again (possibly from a different server).
